We have been providing continuing education to mental health professionals in Florida since 1998. All courses are approved and accepted by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling, provider 50-31668.

We believe that continuing education courses do not have to be tedious and boring. We combine examples, case studies, humor and clinical expertise to provide courses that are enriching, stimulating and fun. Participants consistently give our workshops the highest ratings possible.

Founder Donna Ross, LCSW, built Ross Counseling based on her experience as a clinician, her skillfulness as a presenter and trainer, and her wide area of knowledge in the area of mental health counseling and social work. After over 20 years, Donna has made the decision to retire. Gwendolyn and Allan Green were chosen as Ross Counseling’s new owners.

Gwendolyn is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Master’s Level Certified Addictions Professional, and Qualified Supervisor, with experience in writing and training and is CEO of Tampa Crossroads, a nonprofit behavioral health organization, and will serve as Director of Education for Ross Counseling. Allan is a corporate management and IT professional who will maintain the daily operations and will work to keep Ross Counseling ahead of the curve in terms of customer service and course content.

Donna understood the value of personalized relationships and used that understanding as she built Ross Counseling, creating a way to integrate the web-based independent learning style platform with something personal and collaborative. Gwendolyn and Allan look forward to continuing the same excellent customer service and high quality continuing education courses that have become synonymous with Ross Counseling.
